September 24 - Open House with Michele Smith
Hermy asked me some time ago if I thought having Michele Smith at a Open House would draw many people. "You betcha" was my reply. Well, the place was packed!
Michele arrived and spoke with Herm a bit and told him "I don't sit" when he asked if she wanted a chair. And she didn't sit all day. When people weren't coming up to her, she would go around and talk with everyone. What a great personality! She was very warm and friendly to everyone.
Michele signed some of her pictures (she signed a new Triumph cap for me). She would pose with people for pictures (her sister would help by taking the pix). She would pose and your bike with or without you. Whatever you wanted.
Her big brother was there on his Rocket 3 that he purchased from Hermy.
In addition to the fine tunes from a 2 piece band and the good food, it was a great day. Hermy - it will be hard to top this day!
By the way, Hermy couldn't run the demo rides this time but promises an upcoming Open House and Demo day in the very near future. Stay tuned.
